Back to Back? Reigning champ gets #3 preseason ranking.

There have been no repeat league winners in the LCFL. However, No LC For YOU! is making a case.

A Cinderella Story

In the 2024 Preseason Poll, Bill ranked 12th in the league. He picked Jonathan Taylor at 1.10 and his second rounder went to Drake London, who at the time had peaked his rookie year at WR31.

Nico Collins and Joe Burrow proved to be great picks in the 3rd and 4th, but 5th round and on there was not much to write about this team. Besides Jonathan Taylor, his RB room consisted of Zamir White, Gus Edwards, and Jaylen Wright. The highest EOS rank of those three was RB53.

Depth doesn’t matter (Hero RB/QB)

Despite the lackluster draft, the team finished 8-6. No LC For YOU! truly worked off the backs of Joe Burrow, Jonathan Taylor, and Drake London.

Joe Burrow22.5 ppg
Jonathan Taylor16.8 ppg
Drake London13.6 ppg
Above players combined52.9 ppg
Entire Team98.87 ppg

This team saw a season-low in Opponent Points Per Game which allowed the team to pull off some shaky wins. But what really allowed this team to make the playoffs was a three week stretch early into the season, where they put up 130+ pts each week.

Week 3: 131.26 pts vs Katie
Week 4: 132.58 pts vs Alex
Week 5: 134.88 pts vs Kyrsten

After a great 4-1 start, they finished 4-5 with an average ppg of 91.41 ppg.

Perfect Timing

Once No LC For YOU! made it to the playoffs, we saw one of the greatest postseason runs since the Dozers got hot. They opened Round 1 with a calm 95.64 pts. But Joe Burrow and Jonathan Taylor turned up the next two games, helping the team score 148.48 pts in Round 2, and 162.08 pts in the Championship. No matter who they played in Round 2, or in the Championship, this team was going to win in a blowout.

A Better Start

In the 2025 Preseason Power Rankings, No LC For YOU! has claimed the #3 spot, as well as the only team to secure multiple 1st place votes.

Bill was voted for drafting the best RB room in the preseason poll. He also received votes for being the best drafter in the early rounds and best drafter in the mid rounds.

Having both Jahmyr Gibbs and Kyren Williams at RB is an insane group, and is the closest we will get to seeing Aaron’s historic RB room again. Overall I think the depth is better compared to his team last year.

I asked fellow LCFL Blog Editor, Alex, his thoughts on Bill’s team.

“[I] love Bill’s team. The best starting RBs in the league probably.”

We talk a lot about upsides, but I think it’s important to look at the best teams in their worst spots. What weaknesses do you see with his team?

“I think [RB] depth might be one of his weaknesses, kind of hinges on Tank Bigsby.”
“I think his WRs are very safe but don’t see them as super high upside players, especially McLaurin. Terry is definitely a candidate for touchdown regression.”

At the very least this team should be solid, and this team as a whole looks way better than they did last year. Will they have luck on their side this season?
